Privacy Policy
Quondy — Home Recipe keeps your dishes, ingredient notes, and cooking timers on your iPhone. This page explains what the app may access on your device, what never leaves it, and how data related to this website is handled.
Effective date · July 9, 2026
- Write a recipe in minutes Add a title, list ingredients, jot down steps — your dish lands in a private cookbook. No sign-up, no email, and no social login needed to start cooking.
- Your kitchen stays private Family recipes, dietary notes, and custom tags are never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build a profile of what you eat.
- Light on permissions We do not read your contacts, track your location, or scan your photo roll without you choosing to attach a dish photo. Quondy asks only for what helps you cook.
What this policy covers
This document applies to the Quondy — Home Recipe iOS application on the App Store and to the informational pages served from this domain. It is written for anyone who installs the app or visits these pages.
Information the app uses
Quondy does not require your legal name, email address, phone number, home address, government ID, or payment details to function.
Recipes you create, categories you assign, and notes you add remain on your device. Your personal cookbook is not uploaded to our servers for analytics, profiling, or resale.
When the app loads shared content — onboarding screens, category labels, cooking tips — it may request public endpoints on this site. Those responses contain generic text only; nothing from your private recipes is ever sent back.
Device permissions
Quondy may request notification access so you can receive timer alerts or gentle reminders for dishes you scheduled yourself.
Photo library access appears only when you attach a picture of a finished plate or a handwritten recipe card. Microphone, contacts, and precise location are not requested unless a future version clearly needs them and this policy is updated first.
Basic storage and network access allow the app to run and fetch optional template updates. Crash reports handled by the App Store follow Apple's own privacy rules.
Third-party services
Hosting providers keep this policy page and public API routes online. They may retain server logs for security and uptime under their separate privacy terms.
If we introduce analytics or support tools later, each provider will be listed here and data sharing will be limited to what they need to operate.
Age requirement
Quondy — Home Recipe is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal details from children. If a minor entered data by mistake, contact us through the App Store support channel and we will help with removal where possible.
Retention and security
Your saved recipes, tags, and timers stay under your control on your device. Delete individual dishes inside the app or uninstall to wipe local storage entirely.
We apply reasonable safeguards to pages and server-side components we operate. No system is perfectly secure — treat family recipes and dietary notes with the same care you would a private journal.
Your choices
You may stop using Quondy at any time. Turn off notifications or revoke optional permissions in iOS Settings for a quieter experience.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information we handle directly, use the developer contact listed on the App Store page.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this text as Quondy — Home Recipe evolves or as legal requirements change. The date above marks the latest meaningful update. Continued use after a revision means you accept the updated version where permitted by law.
